After a laborious but successful organization of the first ever Miss Africa in China Pageant last year in Beijing, we now present you the second edition of what has been described as "the biggest African crowd - pulling event in China."
The annual Pageant unites Africans in China, empowers young African women and offers you a unique opportunity to explore and enjoy the diversity of African culture through talent shows, fashion parades, live African music, paintings, cuisine, etc.
Last year the event was a success thanks to the poineer contestants, sponsors like: TAAG Angolan Airways, Air Zimbabwe, St. Regis Hotel etc. and some embassies of African countries in China. Miss Archlyn Bruce from Liberia swept the 2009 crown with her stunning talents last year, but many African young ladies are vowing to do more this year.
2010 is a special year for Africans because the whole world will be focusing on Africa from the month of June for the FIFA world cup in South Africa. For this reason, the organizers of the pageant are working round the clock and have mobilized everything it takes to hold a more exciting and memorable pageant. Old and new sponsors and patrons are welcome as new contestants register to compete for the 2010 crown.
